Participating in our fitness challenges will help you create goals, increase accountability, and build relationships with others on this journey.
Our fitness workshops are designed to help you improve form, technique, or increase performance in specific areas.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE. At the Y, no one is denied service due to the inability to pay. Funds for Financial Assistance are provided through the YMCA’s Annual Giving Campaign. Learn more here!
If you are pre-qualified for Financial Assistance, please note that some of our programs have minimum fees in order to cover costs of materials and supplies. This fee may be higher depending on your amount of assistance.

Are you ready to feel stronger, more empowered, and confident in the gym? Join our Intro to Strength Training for Women at the Y! This welcoming course is perfect for women of all fitness levels who want to explore strength training and discover the benefits of lifting weights. Strength training is essential for women, as it helps improve bone density, boosts metabolism, and enhances overall physical and mental well-being.
In this 4 session class, participants will gain hands-on experience with various tools such as free weights, machines, and barbells, while learning techniques for key exercises like squats, deadlifts, and presses. You will also have the opportunity to explore different areas of the Y, building confidence in your abilities. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today and take the first step toward lifelong strength and health!

Ski & Snowboard Conditioning
Don’t miss a minute of fresh powder this season! In this 4-week class, you will work with a personal trainer in a small group setting. A total of 4 one-hour sessions will prepare you for the season with a special focus on strength, flexibility, and recovery. Register online or at the Front Desk.

Sound Bath: Relax, Release, and Restore
Allow yourself to pause, breathe, and be immersed in the healing vibrations of sound. In just under an hour, you will feel more grounded through a guided Soundbath, Kaila uses singing bowls tuned to specific melodic tones designed to calm the body and quiet the mind. The gentle resonance promotes deep relaxation, eases tension, and supports emotional and physical well-being.
Whether you’re new to meditation or simply seeking a moment of stillness, this experience invites you to unwind, reset, and leave feeling refreshed and restored.
All levels welcome, ages 15+.
We recommend comfortable clothing, and that you bring water.
*Optional: While mats and props are provided you may prefer socks, your personal yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or eye mask.

StrongHer: Next-Level Lifting for Women 40+
Ready to take your strength training to the next level? This 4-week small group workshop is designed for women 40+ who already have some weight room experience and are ready to go heavier, train smarter, and feel more empowered in their bodies. Together, we’ll explore progressive overload, proper form for heavier lifts, and how to build muscle safely and effectively.
Heavy lifting isn’t just for athletes—it boosts bone density, builds lean muscle, supports joint health, improves metabolism, and builds lasting confidence. Whether your goal is to get stronger, feel more capable, or simply challenge yourself in new ways, this supportive and educational group will help you level up your lift—at your pace, with expert guidance.

Yoga Nidra Workshop
Embrace the opportunity to unwind and tap into the power of your subconscious mind through the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep. Led by Kaila Z, this workshop will guide you through a gentle and rejuvenating series of guided meditations and deep relaxation techniques to reduce stress and increase resiliency in the body and mind.
What to Expect:
Gentle movement (20 min): Release trapped energy in the body with gentle, somatic, movements and floor-based yoga postures. Preparing the body for deep rest.
Intention Setting (20 min): As we look ahead to the coming year, take the time to set intentions that align with your aspirations and desires. We’ll begin the workshop with guided exercises and reflections to craft meaningful intentions that serve as your compass for the coming months.
Yoga Nidra Session (50min): Immerse yourself in a state of conscious relaxation as you explore the layers of your consciousness. Experience deep serenity and release tension, allowing your body and mind to enter a state of profound rest. Supreme comfort is key, you’ll be using props and to create the ultimate savasana position. During the Nidra Session you will be placing your Intention into your subconsciousness to amplify its power.
