Fitness Challenges and Workshops
The YMCA offers a variety of fitness challenges and workshops to help keep you motivated while you strive to meet your fitness goals.
Participating in our fitness challenges will help you create goals, increase accountability, and build relationships with others on this journey.
Our fitness workshops are designed to help you improve form, technique, or increase performance in specific areas.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE. At the Y, no one is denied service due to the inability to pay. Funds for Financial Assistance are provided through the YMCA’s Annual Giving Campaign. Learn more here!
If you are pre-qualified for Financial Assistance, please note that some of our programs have minimum fees in order to cover costs of materials and supplies. This fee may be higher depending on your amount of assistance.

Walk or Run couch to start line 5K or 10K
Walk/Run clinic to get you to your first 5K or 10K. 8 week training session, beginner to intermediate walkers or runners.
Each participant will receive a customized training plan that is tailored to their level and race distance.
Sessions include 30 minutes of walking or running and 30 minutes of strength training and stretching.
Race day is May 17th 10 a.m YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon. Registration for race is separate.
