Healthy habits stick when started at a young age. Our Youth Health & Well-being programs give kids all the tools and support necessary to create lasting foundations that will allow them to be confident, healthy, and happy.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE. At the Y, no one is denied service due to the inability to pay. Funds for Financial Assistance are provided through the YMCA’s Annual Giving Campaign. Learn more here!
If you are pre-qualified for Financial Assistance, please note that some of our programs have minimum fees in order to cover costs of materials and supplies. This fee may be higher depending on your amount of assistance.

Homeschool P.E.
Looking to add an extra hour of fun to your homeschool routine? Join us at the Tomlinson YMCA for an exciting physical education class tailored for homeschool students!
Each week, students can enjoy an hour of high-energy gym games like Dodgeball, Spider Ball, Capture the Flag, and Line Tag, all facilitated by our experienced YMCA Youth Leadership Staff. They’ll also get to explore popular sports like basketball, soccer, hockey, and more.
This is a great opportunity to meet new friends, connect with our homeschool community, and experience the welcoming culture of the YMCA. We can’t wait to see you there!

Kids CrossFit (Ages 8-14)
This 4-week program is designed especially for youth. Using functional fitness and a variety of movement and activities, participants will focus on balance, agility, coordination, speed, stamina, endurance, flexibility, athleticism, and core strength.
Class is held 2 times a week for 50 minutes each session
Participants should wear comfortable clothes they can work out in and close-toed shoes.

Youth Sports Conditioning (Ages 10-14)
This once or twice-a-week program is designed especially for youth.
Participants will focus on balance, agility, coordination, speed, stamina, endurance, flexibility, athleticism, and core strength using a variety of movements, including functional fitness a variety of movement and activities.
Class is held once or 2 times a week, (you choose!) Tuesday and/or Thursday and meet in the WMAC. Sessions run monthly.
Participants should wear comfortable clothes in which they can exercise and closed-toe fitness shoes.
Water bottles are required.

This class is required for children 10-11 in order to exercise independently in designated fitness areas in the facility. While not required for children 12-14, it is highly encouraged.
Please note the Weight Room is restricted to members 15 years and older.
60 minute classes are held at 9:30am on the first Saturday of every month, unless the first Saturday is a holiday.
