Healthy habits stick when started at a young age. Our Youth Health & Well-being programs give kids all the tools and support necessary to create lasting foundations that will allow them to be confident, healthy, and happy.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE. At the Y, no one is denied service due to the inability to pay. Funds for Financial Assistance are provided through the YMCA’s Annual Giving Campaign. Learn more here!
If you are pre-qualified for Financial Assistance, please note that some of our programs have minimum fees in order to cover costs of materials and supplies. This fee may be higher depending on your amount of assistance.

Creative Movement-Ballet Combo Class (Ages 5-8)
This program introduces children to the art of dance including ballet, jazz & Hip Hop for a variety of styles and technique. This class will help children work together in group settings, improve musicality & coordination, and learn basics of new dance forms.

Creative Movement and Ballet (Ages 4-5)

KidFit (Ages 8-14)
This 4-week program is designed especially for youth. Using functional fitness and a variety of movement and activities, participants will focus on balance, agility, coordination, speed, stamina, endurance, flexibility, athleticism, and core strength.
Class is held 2 times a week for 50 minutes each session
Participants should wear comfortable clothes they can work out in and close-toed shoes.

THRIVE Adaptive Dance (5-14 yrs)
Youth looking for a place to learn and be a part of a fun and exciting team will enjoy this program. Participants will learn body awareness, balance, dance moves, meet new friends, and have an extremely fun time! Participants will practice 2 times per week and perform a structured routine at the end of the block of classes. Uniform included in the fee. Parents are welcome to drop off the participant. Practices will be Saturdays from 10 am-11 am with a Thursday refresher practice evenings from 5:30-6:30 pm
THRIVE Adaptive Dance (Teens and Adults)
Adults looking for a place to learn and be a part of a fun and exciting team will enjoy this program. Participants will learn body awareness, balance, dance moves, meet new friends, and have fun!
