Aquatics conditioning is a competitive pathway for students following swim lessons.  This program focuses on continuing to build endurance and stroke technique on all major competitive strokes and encourages swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle.  Students will develop endurance with all competitive strokes, flip turns, starts and finishes.

Prerequisites: MUST pass Stage 6 OR CAN swim butterfly across the pool, swim front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke across the pool and back, swim 150 yards continuously.

The ratio for this class is typically 8 swimmers to 1 instructor.

• Front crawl, smooth flip turn, 200 yd
• Back crawl, smooth flip turn, 200 yd
• Breaststroke, open turn, 200 yd

This program is for parents/guardians who are not sure what swim level their swimmer should be in. Our staff will be on deck to test your child on the skills required for each level and will give you a certificate indicating what level they should be in.

If you sign up for lessons after participating in this assessment, your $5.00 will be applied to your swim lesson registration cost.

Prerequisites: CAN swim 10-15 yards on his or her front and back. But CANNOT swim a front or back crawl for 25 yards. Starting this class with the ability to swim a yellow necklace (15 yards) is recommended.

• Front crawl, rotary breathing, 15 yd
• Back crawl, 15 yd

• Resting stroke, elementary backstroke, 15 yd
