In this Stroke Camp, participants will focus on the four core competitive strokes: Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle. They will work on improving their technique and endurance while having fun and challenging themselves.

All participants must have basic understanding on all four strokes as this camp will focus on improvement, not instruction. If swimmers are still learning the strokes, please look at our swim lesson offerings.

6-10 years old OR beginner swimmers. Must be able to swim 25 yards of each stroke.

While we do not require a try-out for the camp, it is up to the coach’s discretion to suggest another option (such as SPLASH Spring Break swim lessons) for any participant who may need additional stroke development prior to perfecting technique and working on endurance.

In this Intermediate/Advanced Stroke Camp, participants will focus on perfecting the four competitive strokes: Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle. Participants will also work on competitive diving starts and flip turns. They will work on improving their technique and have an emphasis in working on endurance while having fun and challenging themselves.

All participants MUST be able to swim a 100 Yard IM (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle consecutively). This camp will not be focused on instruction, but rather improvement.

8-12 years old OR intermediate swimmers.

While we do not require a try-out for the camp, it is up to the coach’s discretion to suggest another option (such as SPLASH Spring Break swim lessons) for any participant who may need additional stroke development prior to perfecting technique and working on endurance.

The Blue Marlins are a recreational swim team with an emphasis on stroke development and aerobic exercise. Participants will continue their growth as a swimmer by increasing their endurance through age/skill appropriate workouts in a fun environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Passed a level 4 in swim lessons OR Beginner swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards Freestyle and Backstroke

This adult program (ages 18+) is for adults who are looking to increase their technical swim skills and endurance. The coaches will provide workouts and technique based feedback on how to improve your strokes to be more a more competitive swimmer. This program is excellent for adults who are training for triathlons, ex-competitive swimmers looking to get back into the pool, and anyone who knows the competitive strokes and wants to incorporate swimming into their workout routine.

• Must be able to swim AT LEAST 100 yards of crawl stroke

Dynamic morning swim program for adults 18+ led by a certified swim instructor!  This structured workout is designed to boost your cardiovascular fitness, build strength, and improve stroke technique – whether you’re training for a race, cross-training, or simply swimming for health and wellness.

Workouts are tailored to a range of skill levels, with options for endurance, speed, and skill refinement.  Each session includes a warm-up, main set, and cooldown, with feedback and motivation throughout.
