Party availability at Downtown Boise YMCA

Currently we offer birthday parties on Saturdays at 2pm.

Parties must be booked two weeks in advance in order to provide staffing. All non-members over the age of 18 will not be let into the building without a valid ID.

During the first hour, party goers will have access to the party room and receive place settings (plate, cups, napkins, utensils) for up to fifteen people including the birthday child. Cake is available for an additional fee ($30). With the help of a birthday host, the room will feature the space to eat and open gifts. Families are allowed to bring in a reasonable amount of food, and will be welcomed into the room up to 15 minutes early to place any decorations that do not need to be screwed or nailed to a wall.

Following your time in the party room you will then transition to your featured space. At this time the hosting family will be asked to gather their belongings and gifts so that the room can be prepared for the next event.

Based on room capacities guests will be allowed to join their child in the party. All non-members over the age of 18 will not be let into the building without a valid ID.

Join us for fun for the whole family at the Downtown YMCA’s Family Nights! These are held on the third Friday of each month (except April and September). Registration is encouraged so we may properly staff and prep activities!

Similar to Kids Night Out, Family Night Out is an opportunity to join in on the FUN with the whole family! FREE for all members!

Come spend quality time together in a fun, safe, and engaging Y environment.

Calling all young Swifties to join an unforgettable night dedicated to celebrating the music and magic of Taylor Swift! Children will partake in fun crafts, activities, and trivia while singing and dancing to Taylor Swift’s music. Whether your child is a longtime fan or just discovering her music, this event promises to be a hit!

Ages: 13-17 years old | Location: Youth Activity Center (main floor of the DT YMCA) | FREE EVENT

Come join us for our monthly Teen ONLY Night on the last Friday of each month! YMCA staff will run a variety of games (card games, board games, Nintendo, etc.) throughout the evening, and pizza will be provided for participants!

B-I-N-G-O!!! Come play a couple rounds of Bingo while trying to win some fun prizes. Be part of the exciting action! Dinner is included with registration. This is a great opportunity to connect with peers. Everyone goes home with at least 1 prize.

THRIVE is designed for children and adults that are neurodivergent, but ALL are welcome!

Let’s enjoy some adaptive PE style activities! Through this program, participants will learn the value of a physically active lifestyle. They will expand their knowledge of fitness concepts including flexibility, stamina, strength, and nutrition while getting the opportunity for self-expression and social interaction.
