This program is for refugee women who are interested in taking swimming lessons at the West Boise YMCA Aquatics Center. The requirements for levels are listed below:

Beginner Swimmer: a participant who has very little to no swimming experience.

Intermediate Swimmer: a participant who has had previous swim lesson experience and has been approved by an instructor to be considered “intermediate”. An intermediate swimmer can float on their back, kick their legs, and stand up completely independently.
